This doll is intended as a decorative object for adults.

It is a doll for collectors – handcarved and handpainted and usually dressed individually. The doll is handmade, don’t expect 100% perfection or symmetry. Some materials are not weather-proof and UV resistant. In general, the dolls are intended for indoor use.

  • Touching the face plate with bare hands could damage the make-up – despite sealing – over time. If you need to touch the face, please wear soft white cotton gloves
  • When changing eyes, always pull the string back. Do not pull down or sideways as this may cause damage.
  • Be careful when changing the clothes. Keep the charms away from the face to avoid scratching. Dark clothes and stockings can rub off on the body
  • Do not unscrew the faceplate.
  • Protect the doll from water, fire and direct sunlight.

Recommendation: Keep the doll in a display case or on a shelf for example

Product Transparency Information: SUPPLIERS AND SUPPLY CHAIN 

All my suppliers are known and documented by me. For the artistic dolls I create, I source the following components:

  • The blank doll bases (mostly from China and Japan).
  • Specially articulated bodies from the Obitsu brand (sourced from Japan or Spain).
  • Occasionally, wigs made of wool (sourced from Europe).
  • Hand-made clothing from various manufacturers worldwide.
  • The final creation and assembly of the dolls as a complete concept are carried out in Austria.

Contains small parts that may be swallowed.

Fire hazard
The face plate (sealed with clear lacquer), wigs or clothing made of plastic or wool are flammable. Keep away from open flames or heat sources.

Material sensitivities
Materials such as plastic, wool, or paint and clear lacquer may cause allergic reactions. Do not touch the face plate with bare hands.

Care instructions
Not washable. Clean gently with a dry cloth if needed.
