Description

Elara

Behind a roaring waterfall, a girl named Elara lived with her family. They hid there from the evil sorceress Morwenna. One day, Morwenna discovered their hiding place and cursed Elara, turning her into a swan. Only at midnight could Elara regain her human form for a few hours.

Her brothers desperately searched for a way to break the curse. They learned that only the tears of a pure soul, shed out of true love, could save Elara. On a full moon night, a wise old hermit came to them, having heard of Elara’s plight and wanting to help.

The hermit shed tears of pure love, which fell onto Elara. With each drop, the curse faded until Elara was human again. Overjoyed, the siblings embraced. From then on, they lived in peace and safety behind the magical waterfall, protected from Morwenna’s evil magic.

Care & Handling

This doll is intended as a decorative object. It is a doll for collectors – handcarved and handpainted and usually dressed individually.”The doll is handmade, please do not expect perfection or symmetry.” Some materials are not weather-proof and UV resistant. In general, the dolls are intended for indoor use. If you pay attention to these points, you will be able to enjoy the doll for a long time.

When touching the doll’s face wear white cotton gloves as excessive exposure could damage the make-up despite sealing.
When changing eyes, always pull the string back. Do not pull down or sideways as this may cause damage.
Be careful when changing the clothes. Keep the charms away from the face to avoid scratching. Dark clothes and stockings can rub off on the body
